Open House 2006

I went to school at 11.30 in the morning even though my Art shift for Open House was at 2.30-3.30 in the afternoon. My father had an appointment and I didn't want to take public transport. Went to the Guides booth since Elyssa was there. She had to weigh this swing structure down so that it doesn't collapse when someone sits on it. I just kept talking to her for half an hour tilll her shift ended. After that we went to the hall to look at our Geography PT hahaha. Indeed 'proudly presented' by us :) I remember I put 'Proudly presented by: Elyssa Yap (6), Hong Ying Xuan (10), Khoo Yi-lin (12), Emelia Lim (16)' 'cause I thought it'd show our pride and interest in doing the project. It worked I suppose.

Went to Far East for brunch, at Long John Silver's. I know it's sort of out of my edible list but there're not many choices in Level One. And it tasted pretty fine, I like the fries. We bought some stuff and walked back to school since we had plenty of time. Reached school early so we went to look at all the different booths. I think the IVP products are damn cool! Went around to find Gabriella's aunt and godmother- Jia Wen and Joan, and found a Seventh Godmother for her- Hui Qi. Oh, by the way Gabriella is a bear wearing a shirt which says 'Hug Me'. Elyssa brought it to school on Friday 'cause she saw it in her cupboard, thought it was cute, and put it in her bag, hahaha.
Uh, then it was my shift. Only a few came to the Art booth since 2.30-3.30PM was the Principal's Address. I wouldn't know how to explain the art works to anyone who came anyway, there're done by the upper secondary. This Chinese teacher came and asked about the works, so I just crapped about the art work. I swapped flies for the whole time, one hour passed pretty fast. Elyssa was still in school, she was looking around with Yi-Lin. So i continued to walk around with her.
Saw Christel, I was talking to Elyssa and the next moment I turned my head, she was gone. So we went to the hall to get the cold air, saw Ying Xuan at CAP booth, lonely thing. We just walked some more and sat on the chairs meant for the booth beside the CAP one. My father called so I went to the foyer and saw Aunt Lillian and Uncle Peng Seng, they were looking for Christel. Then I knew Christel was left to walk all over alone 'cause her parents were at the Principal's Address!? She didn't look around much I think 'cause she told me that she went to look at the classrooms, hahaha. They're not even opened! It was already 4 and the Open House was ending at 4.30. I took her to quickly look at the Subject and CCA booths, not forgetting to emphasize on my group's Geography PT, hahaha whatever. My father was such a nuisance he told me to bring her to look at the container, the J Block. That's not even included in Open House okay, zzzz. Then my father was talking so loud that this teacher stood behind us and kept staring and grinning. I was all, 'Okay la, okay la' and I made my escape by bringing them to look at the J Block. Yeah, went home after that. Aunt Lillian kept telling Christel to work hard to get in, hahaha.

I didn't bring my camera, there were stuff worth taking pictures of.
